  What a fantastic place to visit! The engine is an amazing sight, still running smoothly and quietly after almost a hundred years. Nothing is too much trouble for the volunteers who all seem to be very knowledgeable about the cotton weaving industry.
  
  There is a second steam engine that is in the process of being restored to working order and this is a very rare sight indeed.
  
  Altogether a fascinating experience and a great learning opportunity for anybody interested in local history.
